McGill second-year Honours in Accounting students Aurélie Daoust-Lalonde, Adrian Brown, Charles Mercier, Vincent Nicolette and Eric St-Pierre were announced winners of the CCA case competition yesterday in an event held at the Mount Stephen Club. The competition, which lasted a whole term, examined a major business decision issue in the setting of an existing Quebec company. The McGill team has been recognized, among others, for the thoroughness of its quantitative analysis and the originality of its proposed solutions. This is the third major case competition this year in which McGill Honours in Accounting students have reached the podium. They finished first in the Queen's School of Business ICBC competition in January and third in the Commerce Games in January.
