MONTREAL - Ï㽶ÊÓƵ will be hosting three playoff games at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium this Friday (Nov.5).

The Redmen rugby squad captured the regular season pennant with a 5-1 record and will host fourth-place Sherbrooke (0-6) in a semifinal slated for Friday at 3 p.m. Concordia (5-1) will host Bishop's (2-4) in the other semi on Sunday. The two winning teams will meet in the conference finals the following week.

In women's soccer, the Martlets posted an undefeated 9-0-5 record and finished second in the eight-team Quebec league. They will host the third-place Laval Rouge et Or (8-2-4) in a sudden-death semifinal Friday evening at Molson Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 6:30 p.m. ÌýAt the same time, the other semifinal will feature Sherbrooke (8-3-3) taking on the division-champion Montreal Carabins (10-1-3) at Stade CEPSUM, located on the other side of Mt. Royal.

Ìý

Should the Carabins win, they will host the QUSL women's championship game on Sunday afternoon. Should the Carabins lose, combined with a Martlets victory, McGill would host the final at an alternate venue yet to be named, due to an Alouettes home game at Molson Stadium.

In men's soccer, McGill finished second of seven teams with a 7-4-1 record and will host the third-place UQAM Citadins, also 7-4-1, in a semifinal at Molson Stadium Friday night at 8:30 p.m. The other semi has fourth-place Montreal (5-2-5) travelling to play division winner Laval (10-2-0) the same night.

Ìý

If both the men's and women's top seeds advance, then they would each host the league championship game on Sunday afternoon.

Ìý

Should only one of the two division leaders (i.e. men or women) lose their semifinal, combined with a McGill victory, then the final would be held at venue to be named later.
