McGill Expert: Poplars' seeds create mess

Story: Cotton-covered seed pods from the Eastern cottonwood and a variety of poplar trees are responsible for the white blanket covering some city streets, especially tree-lined ones in Outremont, Mile End and Plateau Mont Royal.
