Mary Lanni-Campoli wins Dean of Students Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Academic Advising

Professional Program Administrator and Student Advisor Mary Lanni-Campoli has won the Dean of Students Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Academic Advising.  A total of 11 nominations were received in the category for which Lanni-Campoli was awarded (Administrative Staff).  (There were four nominations in the Academic Staff category.)  An award reception was held on Tuesday 25 April at Thompson House to toast this year’s award nominees and to highlight all the great work being done in advising across McGill.

From the Dean of Students award webpage: “This award aims to recognize the integral and valuable contribution that academic advising makes to undergraduate student life at McGill.  Advisors provide guidance to students, assisting them in making informed academic choices in light of their learning, career and life goals.  Advisors help students succeed academically by providing timely, accurate and coherent information about University regulations and program requirements, and by working, as appropriate, with other University services and resources.â€
