Law student Andrés Drew receives Scarlet Key Award

Andrés Drew has been awarded a Scarlet Key Award from Chancellor Dick Pound in recognition of his outstanding leadership as a student.

Deeply committed to both the Faculty of Law as well as the broader McGill community, Andrés has been heavily involved in student government and clubs. During his term as President of the Law Students Association, Andrés was responsible for organizing substantial renovations to the Law student lounge and for creating the McGill Legal Community Networking Fund, which has raised close to $15,000 for human rights internships and other student projects. Andrés Drew is also founder of both the Savate Kickboxing and PLQ McGill Clubs.

The Scarlet Key Award recognizes students who have demonstrated indubitable qualities of leadership, unselfishness and perseverance by their outstanding extra-curricular contributions to the McGill community. All award recipients are automatically members of the Scarlet Key Society.
