Published: 29 April 2016

The Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Unit of the McConnell Brain Imaging Centre (BIC) at the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI, 㽶Ƶ) is looking to fill the position of a full‐time Research Assistant. We are seeking to hire a PET specialist to make a difference in an outstanding scientific environment, at the crossroads between cellular and molecular biology, radiochemistry, brain imaging physics, biophysical modelling and neuroscience. The McConnell BIC’s PET Unit has established many firsts in PET science: It features 3 PET scanners (one standard resolution Siemens HR+, one high‐ resolution research tomograph Siemens HRRT, and one microPET camera). It also benefits from the immediate proximity of an on‐site, research‐dedicated cyclotron and radiochemistry Unit to synthesize a large variety of radiopharmaceuticals.
