Inside the world of biomedical research
For a stimulating look at how insiders view developments in the world of biomedical research, the MUHC presents the inaugural From Microscope to Stethoscope lecture series videos. The videos, which draw on the scientific and medical expertise of the Research Institute of the MUHC, were filmed in the fall of 2006 and are now available at . They feature happy accidents that become medical breakthroughs, a review of new immunologic ideas as the best hope against pandemics, and the controversy surrounding cannabis as pain treatment. This series is sure to surprise and inspire.
The lecture videos include:

The 2007 lecture series will be held on October 3, November 7 and December 3.
The Research Institute of the Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Health Centre (RI MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and health-care hospital research centre. The Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Health Centre (MUHC) is a comprehensive academic health institution with an international reputation for excellence in clinical programs, research and teaching.
