Experts were able to confirm a skeleton found under a Leicester, England, parking lot is that of King Richard III after they matched DNA to deceased Londoner Joy Ibsen, who genealogists say was a direct descendant of Richard's mother, Duchess of York Cecily Neville. The bones were found in what's believed to be the lost Church of the Grey Friars, the same place historical records indicate Richard, who was killed in 1485 in the Battle of Bosworth, was buried. The skeleton's identity was confirmed at a news conference at Leicester University Monday, after DNA from Ibsen's son Michael was used to positively identify the remains… Born in England, Ibsen moved to Montreal in 1948 to study at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. After graduating, she moved to Calgary, where she met Norm.
