A unique opportunity to experience one of Canada's protected areas, the Mer Bleue Bog ecosystem, representative of wetland found in cool boreal forest zones. Guides: Dr Nigel Roulet, Geography prof and incoming Director, McGill School of Environment, and Dr Tim Moore, professor and former Chair, Dept of Geography, who have been conducting research on hydrology, climatology, chemistry and ecology in this area for the past six years. First session: 10:00 am-12:00 noon. Second session: 1:00-3:00pm. Wear comfortable shoes, rain gear if needed.
