Sustainable Cooking Workshop

The Sustainable Eating Project, part of McGill Health Promotion, aims to teach you how to purchase and prepare foods in a way that is healthy for your body, mind and the planet, through cooking classes, information kiosks and food demonstrations. New for 2011 is our webpage, part of Fit@McGill, www.mcgill.ca/fitatmcgill, where you will find:
- registration for FREE cooking workshops (courtesy of McGill Food and Dining Services, School of Dietetics and Human Nutrition)
- Delicious, tried-and-tested vegetarian recipes, and information on what's-in-season and where to get it
- Survey to win an iPod Touch
FREE Sustainable Cooking Workshop!
March 9th, Ceilidh at Mac Campus, 1:30 - 4 pm. You will cook a balanced meal using sustainably-sourced ingredients, AND learn about growing your own herbs and sprouts! Brought to you by the Sustainable Eating Project and Out-of-the-Garden. Bring re-usable containers to take home leftovers. Vegetarian meal will be prepared.
