International Law 101
An informal introduction to international law from three of the Faculty's distinguished professors. The presentation will offer first-year and upper-year students an overview of private and public international law topics including trade law, international arbitration, use of force, human rights, and criminal justice. A presentation of the McGill International Law Society.

Prof. Payam Akhavan – Legal adviser to Georgia for the ICJ, former Boulton Senior Fellow at McGill, Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, and Visiting Lecturer and Senior Fellow at Yale Law School.
Prof. Armand de Mestral, C.M. – Holder of the Jean Monnet Chair in the Law of International Economic Integration and Co-Director of the Institute of European Studies (McGill-Université de Montréal).
Prof. René Provost – Director of the Center for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism and former President of the Société québécoise de droit international.
