Thursday, March 11, 2004 13:30to14:30
Peel 3505 3505 rue Peel, Montreal, QC, H3A 1W7, CA
Of the 52 languages spoken by Native people today, only 3 are expected to survive the century. Hear 3 speakers from Aboriginal communities talk about their efforts in preserving their language, along with a documentary filmmaker who has recorded the efforts of various Native communities in Canada to preserve their language. All welcome.
