Public lecture: Me Suzanne Comtois, administrative law professor, Université de Sherbrooke, and spokesperson, SOS Parc Orford coalition. After a brief review of events leading up to the sale of a significant portion of Mont Orford park, Me Comtois will examine the legal and political methods chosen by citizens to oppose the project, and will also touch on the difficulties faced by citizens' groups who seek to protect the environment and, in so doing, must battle the government. This bilingual event is presented by Environmental Law McGill (ELM).
