Criminal Law Speed-Meet
Organized by the McGill Criminal Law student group, the speed-meet event is a networking opportunity for McGill students interested in criminal law, and a chance for them to ask questions about the specific experiences of criminal law practitioners in an accessible environment. Several prominent criminal law practitioners will be present to speak with students in small groups, and to answer questions about their lives and careers.
The speed-meet portion of the event will start at 6:00 pm and will consist of rotating discussions of 10 to 15 minutes each with the students, who will be seated in groups of four around eight tables in the Atrium. During this time, guests are invited to share their stories; to answer questions about their lives and careers, and how they have attained success in their respective fields.
The event will start and end with a wine and cheese cocktail during which guests are invited to stay and chat more informally with the students and other members of the Faculty.
