Broadcast — Mini-Psych: Childhood abuse affects the brain. Have you heard of epigenetics?

The theme of the 2010 Session of Mini-Psych School is mental illness in children, adolescents and young adults.  Each of the 4 classes was given by an expert from the Douglas Institute and explored the research and clinical experience in psychiatry and psychology.

Gustavo Turecki, MD, PhD, is Director of the McGill Group for Suicide Studies (MGSS) at the Douglas Institute. In 2009, Gustavo Turecki was named Scientist of the year by Radio‑Canada for his work on epigenetics. (Broadcast in French)
