Dorothy J Killam Lecture
The Dorothy J. Killam Lecture was established at The Neuro in 2004 to recognize women of influence in business, science, politics or the humanities, and is named after an extraordinary woman who, together with her husband, made immense contributions to Canadian education and science.
This year’s Dorothy J. Killam Lecturer is Laura L. Colgin who is Assistant Professor of Neuroscience at the Center for Learning and Memory, University of Texas at Austin. Professor Colgin will deliver the Dorothy J. Killam lecture entitled, Slow and Fast Gamma Rhythms in the Hippocampal Network on Wednesday, April 5th, 2017 at 4:00 pm. The lecture will take place in the Jeanne Timmins Amphitheatre of the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital (3801 University Street).
