Densifications urbaines: pluralités socioécologiques

Friday, October 27, 2023 09:00to16:45
Office de consultation publique de Montréal, 1550 rue Metcalfe, Bureau 1414, Montréal, QC, H3A 1X6, CA

In Montréal, the question of densification has become a major issue in recent years, as much in urban policies as in the academic and associative worlds. Urban densification and density are polysemous concepts that can be mobilized by players in the fields of planning, ecology, anthropology, community living and urban social justice.

This study day will bring these worlds into dialogue, through presentations in the morning and participatory workshops in the afternoon, with the aim of jointly outlining solutions to the present and future challenges of 21st-century Montréal. Please note this event will be held in French.
