Overview:
This 3-part workshop provides an overview of theÌýnatural language processing (NLP) domain and its applications.ÌýIn this session, you will learn about theÌýmain steps in an NLP lifecycle and go through some of these steps with a real-world example using the Python programming language.
At the end of this workshop, you will be able to
- Understand the steps in the natural language processing life cycle
- Learn specific NLP methodologies, such asÌýTF-IDF and N-grams
- Understand the challenges that can arise in some NLP use-cases
Prerequisites: Introductory knowledge of programming in Python,Ìýusing libraries and packages and how to install them.Ìý A general understanding of artificial intelligence. Introductory knowledge of NLP (e.g. from session 1 of this series).
