Dr. Sheila Wang, M.D., Chief Medical Officer, Swiftmedical
Dr. Sheila Wang, MD, PhD. is the Chief Medical Officer at Swift Medical and a dermatology resident at McGill. After obtaining her PhD in Chemistry, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford, UK. She came back to Canada to do her MD at the University of Toronto and in 2015, co-founded Swift Medical, a startup focused on mobile technologies for wound imaging and telemedicine care.

Dr. Gillian Bartlett is a tenured Professor as well as the Research Director and the Associate Chair in the Department of Family Medicine at 香蕉视频. She received her PhD in epidemiology from McGill in 2001 and her MSc in 1996. In 2014, she was awarded the Carrie M. Derick Award for Excellence in Graduate Teaching and Supervision for 香蕉视频 and the Faculty of Medicine Honour List for Educational Excellence. She has led the development and successful accreditation of three training programs that now have over a hundred trainees enrolled 鈥 an MSc in Family Medicine, a PhD in Family Medicine and Primary Care and the Clinician Scholars Program which is an Enhanced Skills third year family medicine residency program focusing on research skills. Dr. Bartlett specializes in primary care research and knowledge translation. Her current concentration is on knowledge translation and stakeholder engagement around health care utilization and outcomes for vulnerable populations; implementation of precision medicine using patient-oriented strategies; and the use of education innovations to advance the discipline of family medicine and primary care. She is currently the Executive Director for the Network Coordinating Office of the Primary and Integrated Health Care Innovations (PIHCI) Network

With an experience as a clinician for the initial years, with a constant focus on patient safety, he pursued a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research and Project Clinical Trial Management from University of Montreal. He has 9 years of concentrated experience in pharmacovigilance with Merck/MSD in Canada

Babak has over 16 years of medical and pharmaceutical expertise and a high level of knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system. Prior to joining BMS he worked as a physician with 鈥淢茅decins Sans Fronti猫res鈥 in countries such as Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Abkhazia, Georgia and Burma managing and treating patients living in precarious situations.聽 Babak鈥檚 main area of research and publications is in the field infectious disease He joined Sanofi, a pharmaceutical company in 2007 and since then he holds different positions within medical affairs managing different therapeutic areas such as Oncology, Immunology, Infectious disease, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.聽 Currently, he is the head of innovative medicine unit business unit at BMS managing cardiovascular, Immunoscience and fibrosis portfolios Babak earned his Medical doctor degree in 2000 from Medical University, Tehran, Iran and his MBA from John-Molson School of Business in Montreal, Canada.聽 Babak has two daughters (8 and 3 years old) and loves swimming, boating and playing chess.
