Montreal and McGill: an international hub for neuroscience research and education

Montreal is one of the largest neuroscience research clusters in Canada with enormous breadth and depth. McGill is a major (top-ranking in Canada for biomedical sciences), research-intensive university, with graduate trainees making up about 23% of the 36,500 students, and the highest proporton of doctoral students among Canada’s top research universites (50% of doctoral students at McGill are from abroad).

Home to 150 staff and trainees, the McConnell Brain Imaging Centre is a stimulating multidisciplinary environment. We cover a wide spectrum of expertises: from imaging methods (analysis and acquisition), to cognitive and clinical neuroscience applications and software development.
