Interfaculty Studies (IFS)

Relationship between interfaculty studies program and administering departments

An interdisciplinary, interfaculty studies graduate program fostering research and faculty collaborations beyond disciplinary boundaries.

IFS programs effectively bring together current research clusters from multiple departments and faculties under one umbrella. As a student in an IFS program, your training gives access to leading scientists in different scientific disciplines and provides you with the tools necessary to conduct cutting-edge research.

Note: students register in the IFS program rather than in a department participating in the IFS program; the supervisor they choose to work with is within a department.
