Dear students and colleagues,
As the 2022-2023 academic year draws to a close, I want to first congratulate all graduating students and wish you much success for this next chapter. It was wonderful seeing so many of you process across the stage at convocation and bear witness as you celebrated your achievements with your families, friends, and loved ones.
For me, this past year has been full of learning, as I joined McGill and had the opportunity to get acquainted, make connections, and get to know some of the exciting research and initiatives undertaken by both students and faculty in Arts. I continue to be honoured to be a part of our diverse Arts community, and I look forward to continuing to move the Faculty forward together. I am deeply grateful to students, staff and faculty for all their support as I complete my first academic year as Dean.
After stimulating semesters, it is now time not only to celebrate the achievements of the past year but also to reflect on what we have learned both on our own and collectively.
I wish you each a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing you in the Fall, ready to take on new challenges, to continue to explore, and to reach new goals together.
