Media Rurality Series in Heliotrope
In June 2022, the Grierson Research Group hosted an international colloquium on the theme . Initial publications arising from the event are beginning to appear in series on , the journal of the Environmental Media Lab (edited by Tessa Brown and Mél Hogan at the University of Calgary). The series, which runs from February-April, will feature seven contributions from participants in the Media Rurality event, with articles released every other Wednesday. Three excellent pieces are already up - from (Concordia) with Paul Nadeau (Guelph), (Alberta), and (McGill). Additional pieces by Assatu Wisseh (UC Santa Barbara), Burç Kostem (McGill), Helen Hayes (McGill), and Patrick Bresnihan (Maynooth) & Patrick Brodie (UC Dublin) will follow in the coming weeks.
