Zina Mustafa is a Master’s student at the Environmental Studies program at York University, and has a Bachelor’s of Arts in International Development Studies from Ï㽶ÊÓƵ.
She has been involved in social justice organizing for seven years, with her work mostly focusing on challenging racism and capitalism. Her research focus is in the tools that black activist organizers use to centre and prioritize the concerns of women, queer people, and transgender people.
